Spicy ahi was a 3/5, while the star of the show was the Hokkigai poke SO GOOD! Will be back for more!

You have to give it a try. Don't forget to get some desert as well. No seating have to get your food to-go. Really good stopped in on our last day. Good priced quality sushi and fried ginger chicken/shrimp. Didn't try the poke will definitely try next time.

This is a local pick up and go/carry out place, no seating or restrooms. That said, the food is outstanding (at least what we had was: poke bowl x2, one with ahi inamona and the other with spicy tuna). It's as fresh as fresh can be, which for we mainlanders who aren't exactly on the coast is a different experience entirely. The staff are kind, service is very very prompt and helpful, and the customers who come in come back because they love the quality and the value. Best poke bowls we have had in years! Cannot wait to return.

June 2023 Solid, 4.5 I'd say. We came by here a few times actually. Once to pick up food for exploring, and again to try more things at the airport. We did a picnic by a beach which was nice except the bees wanted to eat our food too. The place is designed to walk around counter clockwise to order or pickup different things from the center table. Service was awesome. Very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We took some suggestions as well the first time through. Everything was good which is why we went back. The poke was good, fish had good texture. In some cases there was a lot of sauce but it worked really well with the rice. Maiya's fiya didn't have too much kick which was nice. The fried offerings were good also. I'd say the ones from the counter were better than the ones on the center table since they didn't sit. The tofu poke was pretty good with cooked in flavor but after the fact I wanted it to be a little more saucy. The thing that stood out to me was the inari though. Someone had suggested just grabbing a bunch of plain ones and building my own stuff with toppings which honestly worked. They're good by themselves really, I'm a sucker for tofu skin though. Well worth the stop though to check out. Was very easy to order and bring out to our different activities.

We just incidentally drove by here after our backcountry tours next door and WOW did we find a gem. It's located in a small strip mall but had a huge line so we knew it had to be good. Line moves fast so don't be intimidated. Probably the best poke I've had on the island, but the star of the show was their friend chicken (who would've thought?!). It was incredibly moist and flavorful. Highly recommend! Can't wait to go back!

My favorite place to pick up delicious sushi, chichidango, butter mochi, fried chicken, fried shrimp, poke and ice box pie! We visited twice and ordered like there was no tomorrow!! Why not? Vacation is limited so indulge! The staff is friendly and quick with service. Line goes fast and the popping shrimp is my all time favorite! I buy 8 at a time. Poke is delicious, my favorite is tako and ahi. I love the array of snacks in containers on the center piece as you enter. The lady that's running the place is so hard working. I just want her to know that all her hard work is appreciated! The shop is wonderful and so is the staff! Mahalo, continue your hard work for it is paying off!! I'll be back on my next visit; save me my favorites!!

Our first meal in Kauai was poke at Konohiki Seafoods and it was so delicious. I loved how it melts in your mouth and has that juicy, tenderness with each bite. It was so flavorful and it made me reminisce the poke at Ono Seafoods in Oahu. This place is definitely comparable with many options to choose from. Nigiri there is also good! I wish I bought more... There wasn't a place to sit at the place so we drove over to a nearby beach park at Hanamaulu to eat. We got to enjoy the food while looking over the beautiful view. What a day.

This seafood and Hawaiian dish market is very small but packs a punch of great flavor. They offer great Hawaiian plates and fresh poke bowls. We got a variety of spicy and shoyu poke bowls and their ready to eat sushi. The poke was very fresh and delicious. The service was fast and efficient. The store is small but has lots to offer customers. Next time we want to try their awesome looking fried chicken. This is a great place from the airport. Stop by and try it.
